So then it must be a setting in BTguard's menus, right? I'd like to think but for all the uTorrent information they give out I cannot seem to locate the precise settings BT guard should be operating under. Either BTGuard is in fact logging your data (unlikely? I dunno). Or, more likely, using a SOCKS proxy w/ torrents is a bad idea. Offhand I'd suggest sticking to VPN when torrenting. Not sure on the details but your real IP address may be leaking if you're using just a proxy.

This was a bug/leak in uTorrent which should be fixed now. I also use Blocklist Manager a free program from Bluetack along with BTGuard's proxy service. Two lines of protection.
